I love connecting to the wider world through the written word- from novels to news articles. My fondest parenting memories from raising my two now young adult children (both Egan alums) were the times spent sharing books side by side. So it's no surprise that I returned to work as a Literacy Aide at Loyola and a Library Aide at Blach. This will be my third year as Egan’s Librarian and I'm eager to explore even more ways to serve the Egan community in this role. I’m passionate about connecting students with books they will enjoy and providing useful resource for Egan’s teachers. I have a BA in Psychology from Gettysburg College and a Masters in Elementary Education from Fairfield University. When I’m not reading, I enjoy being part of a vibrant church community and a dedicated exercise community, as well as making the most of family time before the nest is empty.
