Every year Oak participates in the annual LASD STEM Challenge and hosts a STEM Expo for students to display their projects.  This is an exciting opportunity for students to stretch an idea for a typical science fair project into a project with a STEM focus.  

There are 6 categories of projects from which to choose:

1. Reverse Engineering
2. Invention
3. Rube Goldberg
4. Wearable Design/Wearable Technology
5. Robotics
6. Scientific Inquiry/Research (like a "typical" science fair or research project)
