Gardner Bullis School in Los Altos Hills, California is one of seven elementary schools in the Los Altos School District. Located about one mile from downtown Los Altos, Gardner is a small school with roughly 300 Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Gardner students feed into Egan Intermediate School (one of two junior high schools within LASD) for seventh and eighth grades. Gardner Bullis School opened in 2009 and received its California Distinguished School Award in 2018.

The school site council (principal, staff, and parents) and teachers work collaboratively on school-wide goals each year to help keep our instructional practices and parent support focused on the needs of our students so that they can be at their best and thrive.

Students will develop, monitor, and reflect on goals with the support of parents and teachers in order to encourage student responsibility and executive functioning skills. The goals should promote a growth mindset and hold students accountable for their learning.
