Title:
6th Grade Teacher
Christopher Hazelton

I started my teaching career in Los Altos in 2012 as a substitute teacher for my mom at Almond and joined the district as a full-time 6th grade teacher at Covington in 2015. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in art history and dance and received my teaching credential from San Jose State University. I became a teacher because I love seeing students find their voice. I enjoy helping them see the joy in learning that comes when they realize they are capable of meeting challenges. I believe all students can learn at high levels if given the opportunity, care, and appropriate scaffolding. I enjoy gardening, walking my dog, cooking, taking naps, and watching documentaries about history.
