Hello! My name is Brianna Lorenz and I am thrilled to join the Santa Rita community as a 5th grade teacher. I grew up in Orange County and recently relocated from San Luis Obispo County where I started my teaching career. I have 5 years of experience teaching, including 2 years in fourth grade, and 3 in third grade. I am excited to embrace the new opportunities that come with teaching fifth grade.

Teaching is not just a profession for me, it's a passion that has been embedded within me since I was in elementary school. As Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." I believe in the transformative power of education and I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. Each day in my classroom is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and build a foundation for lifelong learning.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking, reading, and going on hiking or camping trips with my husband.

I look forward to getting to know the students, parents, and staff at Santa Rita Elementary and contributing to our vibrant school community!
